Ms. Yoo has extensive experience in a broad range of legal issues related to state and local taxation, including property tax, transfer tax, business tax, sales and use tax, corporate officer’s liability, and tax exemptions. Her experience includes representing commercial, industrial, and residential clients in their tax appeals, clerking for Presiding Judge Jack L. Van Coevering of the Michigan Tax Tribunal, retired, and clerking for Presiding Judge Joseph C. Small of the New Jersey Tax Court, retired.
Ms. Yoo is involved in all aspects of tax litigation, including discovery, negotiation, settlement and motion practice. She has appeared before and made successful arguments to the judges of the New Jersey Tax Court, New York State Supreme Court, and before county boards of taxation in New Jersey and Arizona. She has been involved in tax appeals in numerous states, including Arizona, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey and New York.
