We are taxpayer advocates. Our practice is designed to advocate for lower tax assessments and reduced property taxes on behalf of property owners and tenant- taxpayers. The firm does not defend or represent taxing districts such as municipalities or counties. We believe to effectively represent taxpayers that we should not cross over and also represent government against taxpayers.

We are in our 26th year of representing taxpayers in pursuit of fair and equitable taxation. In that time, we have settled thousands of tax appeals which have resulted in cumulative tax savings of millions of dollars for our clients.

In speaking with our clients and prospective clients, we have determined that there is a real need for a service such as ours which provides property taxpayers with analysis and a basis to determine whether or not there is an over-assessment.

At Stavitsky & Associates we guide our clients through the process. We are all “hands-on” and take the time to explain what information is needed from you to move our tax appeals and settlement negotiations forward.

"In Memoriam"

Timothy A. Boulos, Esquire passed away suddenly the morning of November 17, 2008. He had a very promising career in the property tax appeal practice of law and was very well liked and respected by his peers, tax court judges and their staffs. He brought a good sense of humor to our firm and was most diligent. We will miss him very much.
