Experience:

Mr. Schwartz's experiences include representing property owners, defending municipalities and clerking for Judge Peter D. Pizzuto of the Tax Court. He is highly successful in real estate tax appeals, with extensive experience in cases involving purchasers and sellers of office buildings, industrial facilities, vacant land, commercial buildings, offices, warehouses, hotels and shopping centers.

Yale educated, Mr. Schwartz holds a J.D. from Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he received the Jacob Burns Medal and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers University with a B.A. in Political Science.

Mr. Schwartz is also Municipal Public Defender in the Township of Livingston. His practice areas include real estate tax appeals, land use and zoning, trusts and estates, education law and criminal law.
